German Oldenburg Inspection
On August 12th we are hosting a GOV mare & foal inspection. Exact time TBD. Please contact us with any questions.

Requirements
Please have your vet complete our health certificate and return to us. Please also have your handler complete the liability waiver. Please do not send any other forms to us - they must go to GOV. Please review the DIRECTIONS provided below as your GPS will take you to the wrong driveway.

Registering a Foal
Complete the BREEDING CERTIFICATE and send it to contact.gov@oldenburger-pferde.com. Include your mares papers if she has not been inspected by GOV.

If you are not a member with GOV, complete the MEMBERSHIP form.

Foaling certificates can be completed online by logging into the website or creating an account. You can also complete the REGISTRATION FORM manually.

Complete the INSPECTION FORM. Once GOV has received all of your documents, they will issue a DNA kit to you which you must send to UCDavis along with a hair sample from your foal.

Microchips are no longer supplied by GOV. This must be ordered by your vet and must be 15 digit chips. Your vet must implant the chip and complete the MICROCHIP FORM. Please send this to contact.gov@oldenburger-pferde.com PRIOR TO THE INSPECTION

If your mare has not been inspected by GOV for breeding approval, you must submit the following forms to them prior to the inspection as well as a copy of her registration papers. You MUST bring her ORIGINAL registration papers to the inspection.
